The Vesakhi Mela 2009 festivities include performances by local talents as well as the most prominent vocalist of recent times from the UK, Manak-E. Lut ke Gayee, was the biggest bhangra track of 2008. Performing at this one night only event (19 April), Manak-E will be down at the Mela at SKA this year.

The Association actively promotes Sikh & Punjabi culture by organising the annula Vesakhi Mela as well as Lohri, Teeyan and dhol lessons, etc.

Young Khalsa is the youth wing of the Association. It's objective is to provide a platform for Young Sikhs to meet, interact and network among themselves as well as with other similar ethnic age groups in Singapore.
